11 June
Twobrids (dark phase) flew over Central Marsh at 23:30.
12 June
Threebrids, one dark phase, flew over Central Marsh. I don't
know what they are doing here, there seems as yet nothing
to eat.
13 June
Again twobrids (one dark phase)
20 June
Twobrids have been hanging around lately. Saw twobrids
over the Drum Area
30 June
Three Parasitic Jeagers walked slowly along the W side of
Gashbine Bridge
9 July
A group of 12brids in company of some 50 Glaucous Gulls
feeding: Central Marsh
11 July
Saw a flock of 22brids on P.S. plot at 17:00. There were
several hong birds among the. On this short trip to the
plot the jeagers were the most common species around.
Threebrids on the meadow S. of Honey Bucket.
19 July
Saw one Parasitic Jeager give chase to a fledgling Snow
Bunting, but the latter escaped among some barrels.
24 July
At Meade River. Saw twobrids repeatedly dive at a
sparrow sized bird, which had ventured too far away from
the willows along the river. They finally caught it.
28 July
Severalbrids gathering the river. They feed on the caribou
skull which Jim left along the beach.
27 Aug.
A few Jeagers have been with us at Barrow in the last
few weeks. Today I saw one at Duck Camp.
3 Sept.
One bird flew past me at Voth Creek
