Chattin'\n1941\n\nItinerary\n5mi. NNE Pt Reyes Lighthouse, Marin Co., Calif.\nJuly 10\ncontd.\n4 Gerrhonotus were caught plus 3 by a\nwhile traps were being set out.\nJuly 11 a.m. Trap line was inspected and some\nof the traps were reset in Carex, bunch\ngrass and blackberry thicket. Others were\nleft where the catch was best. Catch\nin these 120 traps was as follows:\n11 Peromyscus maniculatus 10 Sorex\ntrowbridgii, 2 Sorex arnensis (one\ncontained 2 embryos (8 mm).) 2 Microtus\ncalifornicus were taken in grassy wet\narea beside small seepage. In resetting\nabove traps 3 Microtus and 1 Sorex trowbridgii\nwere taken during the day. Also collected\nwhile setting traps were: 1 Thomomys\n(in sedge.) 1 Gerrhonotus (beneath\nboard in meadow) and several Batrachiceps\n(taken 4-6 inches below ground in wet\nsand on side of cut bank). 1 Thomomys\nwas caught in gopher set. Trap line\nas ? this p.m. consists now ? 1 gopher\nset, 1 mole set, and 120 snap traps in\nsedge, bunch grass and blackberry bush\nmeadow.
