Chattin, J. 1941 Itinerary. Jan 4 Hmi S. Gadsden, (20 ft, Yuma Co, Ariz) (cont'd) overgrown with Bermuda grass and Arrowweed. The ditch runs thru bottomlands covered with willow, cottonwoods, mesquite and tamarisk. In the evening the bats obtained at Fortune Mine were skinned. Jan 5 a.m. Traps were inspected and rebaited where necessary. Catch consisted of 7 Sigmodon hispidus, 3 Perognathus penicillatus, 1 Neotoma albigula and 12 Peromyscus maniculatus. Trap line was inspected again during late afternoon and 10 more Sigmodons were taken. Part of the line was moved further down the canal and also some traps were set in waste land at edge of mesquite and Arrowweed thickets. Jan 6. a.m. Traps were inspected and rebaited. Catch consisted of 1 Sigmodon caught along canal bank. 5 Peromyscus, 4 Perognathus, 1 Reithrodonmys megalotis and 1 Onychomys torridus. In p.m. the line was inspected again and traps reset. Catch at this time consisted of 1 Perognathus penicillatus, 3 Sigmodon and 1 Peromyscus caught shortly after dark). Jan. 7 a.m.- Trap line was taken up. Catch consisted of 1 Reithrodonmys, 3 Peromyscus, 4 Perognathus
