July 7- (A.M.)- 62 mouse traps set out last night in same places or situations as previous night. 7 gopher traps set out in meadow 5 G Guard station cabin. Results - 3♂ Thommys monticola 1♀ Peromyscus maniculatus ) in mole trap) 1♂ Zagus. (1♀ Scapanes orereus caught) 1♀ Phenacomys intermedius 1♀ Neotrichess gibbain 1♀ Sorex vagrans - 7 A.M. - Shot ♀ Lepus washingtonii near roadside at edge of timber. Rabbit was about 7 yds distant, shot with .410 aut - 5,30 P.M.- young h.washingtonii shot in brush thicket (P.M.) reset traps in trap line which had not been picked up. during the day there was caught 1♀Sorex , 1 Microtus , and 1♂ Eutamias amoenas 2 Eutamias townsendii 1♂-1♀ ♀ July 8 - (A.M.) Picked up trap line (62) Results - 1♂ Microtus(?) or Phenacomys(?). 2 Zagus 1♂-1♀ 2 Peromyscus 1♂ 1♀
