(caught near edge of creek) - 4 Zapus (caught both in open sets and at places where burrows had been excavated). - 1 Neurotrichus (caught in trap set in runway which I uncovered beneath mass) and 2 Microtus (caught at edge of water, one actually in the water). - This catch is the best of the trip to date, the cause probably being due to existence of very heavy cover and permanent source of water which
