Chatting 7. 1940 Itinerary 200 ft., U.C. Campus Berkeley Alameda Co. Calif. covered with Catbo-fung (disinfectant) and animals were replaced in cages. H2, whose left front foot was injured in trap, was examined. Its foot was swollen slightly and claws turned under. Some pus accumulation was present in the pad. This sore was opened with a needle and treated with disinfectant. 200 ft. Huichica Creek, Napa Co., Calif. Feb. 4. Spent the afternoon at Longhural's ranch collecting amphibians and reptiles under stones and cottonwood. Weather was damp with showers at intervals. Habitat included riparian, liveoak and open grassland. Feb. 8 200 ft., U.C. Campus, Berkeley, Alameda Co., Calif. H.M. - Large T.b. albatus found dead in cage. No apparent evidence of injury etc. : Prepared as study skins.
