July 18 - caught 3 Onychomys. in trap set in drifted sand near edge of old fence line in which were held many dead Russian thistles.
Trap 5 ft. from nearest cover.
July 24 2 mi. SSE Borbank, 350 ft., Walla Walla Co., Wash
- caught 2 Onychomys in mouse traps set in sandy soil near sand dune. Vegetation of sagebrush & cheatgrass.
