July 31 N.E. edge Alkali Lake, 4200ft., Lake Co., Oregon - 4 specimens taken in drifted sandy soil near edge of dry lake bed. 1 young & cheek pouch contents showed leaves of greasewood and several insects (membracids)? Aug 1 2 mi. E Vinton, 4900 ft., Plumas Co., Calif. caught 14 D. ordii in 58 traps set in fairly open sagebrush in sandy soil.
