June 28 - 1 specimen taken in Museum special trap
set in sand beneath high sagebrush.
Tracks plentiful in soft sand; track left
by tail is distinctive being 5 to 1/4 in.
wide and 2-4+ in. in length.
Mouths of burrows observed usually
beneath or between sagebrush.
