J. Chatten Sciurus hudsonicus Staywhite Spring, 5150ft., Columbia C., Wash. July 27 shot 9 Sciurus hudsonicus as it was foraging about in tops of tall fir(?) tree. Time (about 6:30 A.M.) Animal was busy cutting off cones and letting them drop to ground. July 28 - Shot 2 young S. hudsonicus - both near the ground on partly fallen conifers.
