7:00 AM finds Carol in at Doctors (had to go
2 other times during day) a day of nellybelly,

Oct. 12th
Ellen Shuman took me to lecture on Panama
& the U.S.A.F. SO given by Bill Shuman.
More packing & making new tags. Dr. at
11:00. Really don't understand exactly
what it is (have but he gave me polycillin
for it). Some sort of bacteria + sore throat
(but my throat isn't sore!) also got a gamma
globulin shot. With all the illness in Darien
I consider myself VERY lucky not to have
anything serious! Tried, without success to
locate some friends of Peter's to give message.
Sent telegram to Yaviza (in Spanish) from
Post Office. Only possible certain hours
(checks before venturing out) to try & find it.
