C. Cavalier 1967 Journal 27 Inca Jenny, Guanacaste Prov, Costa Rica August 14 done on a tree branch. The #148 was singing on branch & 2 feet from ground. He was surrounded by tall grass (and mud). She #149 does not jumping as we've seen others jump). Still dizzy. Set 15 mouse trap--this time almost all in bush with peanut butter. Shote #150 on road. Was feeling as is typical of them. Jumping in the air then landing on road again. # see page 26 August 13 went night hunting on road with truck. Saw 38 in 6 mi in 6 mi & saw insert 34 on return trip (4 mile) Also saw 2 from jackets, one dead armadillo & one alive & August 13 one small barn owl & one Blue Caperi. August 14 (last) Drove to CaƱas & saw 7 in 6 mi. Text on the cecey back (6 mi). We saw parakees on the way back. Also saw 5 barn owls, one of which mercedes shot & I stuffed (#151). August 15. One mouse #152 . no bats. Feeling very ill. Hunted near the house. # 153 & #154 shot w by leafy tree No singing. The # 155 in dame leafy tree but 15 min later. The dove # 156 was one of 2 perched on dead tree log The Hummer #157 was in Tmy leafy back. Spinned, parague, owl &
