Finca G money, Guanacaste Prov., Costa Rica
down to the Rio Segueron which runs through
the Finca. (+ 's mi) The first bird I shot was
a hawk which I gave to Mercedes for her
birthday. She has wanted one for sometime.
Began to feel more & more dizzy. Observed
a group of 7 black vultures & one (white
torch) in a dead tree in the middle of the
marshy area. Also saw a night heron
who stood for sometime on a dead turned
over stump. Even though I wasa shot away
from the truck I thought I'd never
make it back. Left Mercedes a note &
started to walk back to the little house.
On the way I shot a

He was up about 50 feet & had is high (4-6)
feet grass. Many insects flew! " The hatch
#122 are all along the
roads & to a little hop & almost twisted in the
air. They were in the grasses along the
road. The

shot from a fruit filled leafy tree on the
lips of the branches. He was near
the river. (100yds). The
#125 was sitting on a cattle watering
tray near the marshy area. I saw
several & these on fences (wire). The
