Augus & I have caught two mice in the exact same spot. The other mouse was also caught in trap under logs. #113 was dead & without feet (ant whole #114 was covered 1/2 partly eaten by ants).
Not only 13 traps because of so little place to set them! No mice we could catch in the grassy areas. Even so I set traps in the grass again tonight at also by the logs. Set some in high bushy (3 feet) areas with little grass but looked like runways. Again covered them with leaves so rain wouldn't get them off.
Saw ± 6 frogs one, 3 toads and a flock of parrots (± 8?). They were all over the cliff & would be impossible to get at/shot. The #112 was gone & the ± 6 flying over the road. They are trying to take down put up. The #115 shot in the pouring rain on way back to campus. It rained on's of this noon & occasionally in the afternoon but not a large quantity. The #115 was one of 3 little birds in a tree ± 4 feet tall.
In the net we got #117.
#116 . He was attacked by the birds w the net so we must check.
