1.5 mi S. Carabanza, Heredia Prov. Costa Rica
Again shot a #89 in
a group of 6-7 jays in tree tops. They
were not so shy that they didn't return
after a few were shot. Curtis does the
road in a low shrub & alone was #83
crossed the bridge.
Across the bridge & up the other side we
found a small group of (5-6)

Finally we came to a open grassy area.
There were 3-4 horses & chickens & donkey.
We climbed up & roamed around for
a few hours. There were 4 houses &
a corn patch. #85 & #86 flew in a
tree & many smaller birds. I am not
certain they are a pair. The squirrel was
in a tree & one is very up (+25 feet). Curtis
saw in this clear area & shot #87
Before I shot him I
tried to hit the bird with him with
a sling shot but wasn't close
enough. Saw very little on the
way home. Shot #84
