July 26th
to the mus net first thing on the way shot a #47 and a #42. The was in a tree + fell into a stream. The water really didn't make a difference because we had another day of hard rain. The #42 was feeding aw the ground when I shot him (on road). Shot by the # 46 was an experience. It was dusk & I saw several in tree. As I approach + one flew away. I saw one remaining & shot at it. About 60 more flew in the same direction as the first group. The three netted birds were

to other nets - on the way I shot #47. He was sitting a little brush that was slightly higher than the ~ 6 ft grass around it. This is typical. Usually in bushes close to grassy area + close to ground. The #48 were again all over the place. They are in trees up to about 20 feet. Haven't seen them much higher. Many of them in pairs. Shot this one off the top of fence post. #49 the was in a small grove of rubber trees. Same place I shot the dove #41 and just off road where I shot #42. Very active area. The was
