Hazel Creek Creek, Yosemite Nat'l Park,
Tuolumne Co, Calif elev ~ 4400'
~ 10 min away from last site. Is now
~ 10 A.M. walked downstream - is more
heavily overgrown than last. Did
not try to follow it very far.
Topo map ref: same as last site.
Hodgdon Ranch, Yosemite Nat'l Park,
Tuolumne Co, Calif elev ~ 45-75'
~ 10:30 A.M. Deserted house & huge
open meadow to left. Stream crosses
road from meadow into pine forest.
Can't find stream in meadow except
where is [illegible] "dam" behind
small pool. Heavily overgrown w/
glass. On other side of road is
also very heavily overgrown w/
tall grass or rather steep banks.
Makes difficult to get too.
Graham thought he saw something
jump into one of the pools but
we were unable to see anything,
either then or on our return.
Didn't walk much farther downstream
for habitat not look good.
Topo map: Lake Eleanor quad (as above)
