ase, Susan M. 1972 Journal. 4 July 15- trip to Yosemite Nat'l Park, Tuolumne Co., Calif. left in state car ~ 4:00 A.M. w Tom Buckholtz and Graham Chatmore. took rte 13 out of Berkeley onto rte 580 toward Livermore & Blackton and took rte 120. stopped at Oakdale at 6:10 A.M. for gas. continue follow rte 120 four miles til reach turnoff for Mather: Cherry Lake. Stop at Bearss Middlefork. camp on middle fork of Tuolumne River at ~ 8:30 AM to look for Rana boylii, (susp.accts) walked upstream ~1/4 mi & back down, finished by ~ 11:00 A.M. after having caught 10 individuals and dropped field notes in H2O. saw 3 Thamnophis couchii while there. ate lunch & headed for Yosemite, arrived in Yosemite Valley ~ 12:30 P.M after entering via Big Oak entrance. After looking around in the village stre we went over to the Visitors Center where I spent ~ 1-1/2 hrs filling out employment forms which were needed for my collecting permit. I know have an official title even - Resources Management Assistant. After getting gas & replenishing our
