E.S.M 1974 Hyla regilla 1 July 1974 California: Nevada Co., Sagehen Pond caught 7 recently hatched tadpoles. Also heard one -> calling from somewhere at one end of pond. Unable to locate. 22 July 1974 California: Alpine Co., pond at Big Meadows Campgd small grassy pond near road. Found # newly metamorphosed individuals on east side of pond away from road. Most sitting on bank or on vegetation near the bank. Caught 9 individuals. Also saw some nonmetamorphosed tad & some just beginning transformation.
