July 1974
went up to where Sogehem Ck crosses Carpenter Ridge rd. Walked upstream ~500 yds & saw 1 muscosa jump in. Went downstream ~1 - 1 1/2 mi. Got 1 ?? muscosa ~ 1/2 - 3/4 mi down. Was sitting on a log. On way back to camp (~1 hr later), he began to call. Think may be release call. Vs short (1-3 sec), guttural, trill, single pitch (which may be lower than that of R. boylei ). Rip'ted several times.
