Susan M. 1972 Rana boylii 5 Dry Creek, Napa Co., Calif From: I stopped ~ 2-3 mi on Dry Creek Rd from the junction of Dry Creek Rd to Redwood Rd. Walked for ~ 1 hr. downstream until we came to a house. One small individual was seen to jump into the H2O but was unable to relocate him. Continued up Dry Creek Rd to just beyond junction of Dry Creek Rd to Oakville Rd. To bridge then over small stream which runs into Dry Creek. Stream is on private property so didn't explore it. Walked .3 miles up Dry Creek - saw nothing altho habitat looks good. Redwood Creek, Napa Co., Calif. Dwn ~ 300' Returned to area was yesterday. Pull of road 3 mi. from junction of Redwood Rd & Dry Creek Rd. Light rain- very slippery. Saw 4 juveniles, 1 caught & released. All w/ in ~ 20' of each other, all near turnout. Several seen sitting in 'pits' in the rock, often w/ small amt H2O. Ie small pit, ~ right size for small frog to 'sit' in.
