Susan M 1973 Journal 34 Trinity Co - Butte Co. trip small quiet pool sheltered by a large rock. The 2nd was found 6-10 fut from river bank asked some fishermen there but they said they'd never seen any there. Did mention a couple of places I could try but no luck. Decided to head back to Mill Creek (see 4 may -> 6 may, 1973 journal). collected 7 tadpoles there. Left early because of threatening rain (& lightning - worried abt forest fires). Also saw 3->4 adults. Stream is ~ 1/2 size was in May. Stopped to eat at Diversion Dam opd. Found 7 frogs had died. Put on dry ice & left for Berkeley. Arrived ~ 9PM. will do lab work next 2 days.
