18 NO7. AX ~ 5000' we met the snowline. Since it was obvious no one had been through there in months & you couldn't find the road anyway, we returned the way we had come until we met the junction of 18NO7 w/ 16N44 leading to Cedar Camp.
Just past turnout on left leading to Wells Ranch was small stream not on Wal'l Forest map or topo map. Decided to see if any frogs there. Spent ~ 2 hrs there - did catch 1 (one) frog.

Continue on 16N44 til met junction w/ road (no #) which leads to junction w/ main road between Lodeza and Stonyford. Stopped several places along [illegible] Little Stony Creek. Saw one frog but unable to catch. Also saw Themnophis and a king snake.
