Colusa Co, Calif trip Tom Buckholtz & I left Berkeley ~ 7 P.M.; took freeway out to rte 101 -> rte 80 -> rte 65 -> rte 5 to Maxwell & then drove up to Stonyford where camped in East Park Reservoir Recreation Area. 4 May 5 May left ~ 7 A.M (PDT) to try to get into Bear Creek. took rd 18/01 (ref: National Forest Service map of Mendocino N'Il Forest 1960) to Fort Springs. Past Fort Springs this road is closed (unsafe for travel). return to Fort Spring; mill Creek campgd & went up to rd
