se, Susan M. 1973 Journal San Luis Obispo Co trip Calif. March (cont) Juan Bautista -> 129 to Watsonville -> -> Rte 1 to Santa Cruz -> Rte 9 thru Grenatosa ( hail storms en route ) -> rte 17 -> rte 680. Return to Berkeley ~ 4:30 PM. March Napa Co, Calif. Julian Krolidz : I left ~ 9:30 A.M. to drive up to Napa. The weather has been nice ( had rain for ~ 1 week ). Same route as Oct 15, 1972. Went to areas had seen this fall - especially those where had seen juveniles. H2O still hi, flow very fast, only slightly turbid. No frogs seen. Decided to drive to other side of Napa Valley. Drove out West Frances Rd to , drove up that til Soda Canyon Rd (on right). Stopped ~ 12:45 for lunch. Did road to right & entrance to Rancho L. Rodriguez(?) at 3030 Soda Canyon Rd. Walked down hillside a bit - found some rocks to sit on & enjoy the view out over the valley. Watched 2 Sceloporus accidentalis ( see sp. accts ). After lunch drove back down to where was open area and
