Susan M. 1972 Journal 21 Redwood Creek and Dry Creek, Napa Co., Calif. Brothers winery. Turned around & went out Dry Creek Rd. Lower part ( nearer Napa ) is also very muddy. Ran into heavy rainstorm which lasted ~ 15 min. Found a number of streams that looked like good habitat and were clear. Walked ~ 100 yds of one but saw nothing. Will return tomorrow for more extensive searching. After that returned home via Rte 12-29-121 -> 12-29 -> 37 -> 80+17 . Dry Creek, Dry Creek Rd, Napa Co., Calif 1.15 (cont) ~ 8:15 A.M. Stopped ~ 2-3 mi from junction Dry Creek Rd & Redwood Rd. Tom Buckholtz is w me today. Walked for ~ 1 hr ( ~ .25-.35 mi ? ) downstream. One small individual scared off bank. Unable to find again upon return. Continue up Dry Ck Rd to just beyond junction w Oakville Rd. Walked ~ .3 mi of Dry Creek. Small, unnamed stream flows into it there but on private land. Lot of Dry Creek is on spotted land which makes it difficult 1.16
