Journal Redwood Creek and Dry Creek, Napa Co., Calif. Started out from Berkeley ~ 12 noon to my roommates Helen & Chu Mei Hu. Took rte 17 + 80 'til turnoff for rte 12. Drove into Rockville & decided we really didn't know where we were so backed Went back onto rte 80 and took the exit to Napa for rte 12. rte 12 joins rte 29 which we followed thru Napa to Jefferson St. Turn W. onto Jefferson to W. Frances Rd which leads to Redwood Rd. and Dry Creek Rd. Took Redwood Rd. towards Christian Brothers Winery. Stopped on side of road to see what Redwood Creek was like. There has been much rain recently and it is very muddy. Did catch one juvenile (see pp acct). Did begin to shower lightly before we left there. No other frogs were seen. Continued up Redwood Rd. to the turnoff to the Christian
