middle fork of Tuolumne River, Tuolumne Co.,
Calf - elev ~ 4400' - 4500'
and places marked to return to later.
Went as far as beginning of private
ranch/ farm ( could see where gate
was on road for cattle ). Met 2
cows there. Most of places we
returned to which had been marked-
paw no evid. of frogs. In one place
did find juvenile which was released.
Looked like Lane Baylei but am not
sure. Would like to return here.

waked upstream but is very wide
( -> 20' ) shallowest ( -> 4' ) & rocky.
Computes up to ~ 100 yds from road then
barbed wire ( even across river! ) indicating
private property. Waked downstream
sew. hundred yds but still too
wide & far too many people. ~ 3:00 P.M.
left for home.
