Busaek 1983-28 8 APR "CONT'D" on the "FIRESTONE HISPANIA MAPAS DE CARRETERAS 9 C-9", on the building SAN CARLOS DEL TIRADERO. The old building has a stone fence around its S. side and just below that fence, and to the W., is a depression which collects, among other things, water in the rainy season. Under one rock on the E. edge of that depression I found 3 NATRIX NATRIX (SDB 1972, ♀, 6.6g, 194+50, FED UPON 2 S. SALAMANDRA and 1 D. pictus; SDB 1973, ♂, 6.6g, 197+48; SDB 1974, ♂, 9.0g, 238+65). On the S. side of the barbed-wire fence just S. of the oldy, Jeanne found another N. NATRIX (SDB 1975, ♂, 15.2g, 289+81, PHOTO)! 4 NATRIX NATRIX in one day! Before this, I had collected only 2 last year, and 3 in all my time in Córdiz! All the more amazing, was that there were 2 NATRIX MAURA under that rock so the 2 species are syntopic as well as sympatric!! In the field across the road from SAN CARLOS... we continued turning stones in very wet area
