INTERSECTION 601 w/ 8303, 0.4 km
NE on 8303 we found one BLANUS
CINEREUS (SDB 1871, 8.5 g, 230+27)
under a rock in an uncultivated strip
between two cultivated areas. 3.7 km
NE 601 on 8303 we found one Discoglossus
pictus (SDB 1872, ♂, 4.0 g, 35 mm SVL)
and, at 3.8 km NE 601 on 8303, we
found a MACROPROTON cucullatus
(SDB 1873, 29.5 g, 389+76). 16.5 km
NE 601 on 8303 a member of the
ubiquitous species, Bufo MAURITANICUS,
(SDB 1874, 8.8 g, 44 SVL) was collected.
Ksar-es-Secur, at 16.4 km E. on the
road, we collected another B. mauritanicus
(SDB 1875, 84 g, 95 mm SVL). 21 km E.
of Ksar-es-Secur, we collected an
A.O.R. Hyla meridionalis (SDB 1876, ♀,
9.8 g, 50 mm SVL).
TANGER, in the ponds just E.
of the center of the town, we collected
one newly-transformed (SDB 1877, 6.2 g,
61+55) and 6 larval (SDB 1878, LOT)
PLEURODELES WALTL. Also from the pond
we collected 4 Hyla meridionalis 5
(SDB 1879; 1880, ♀, 6.5, 43; 1881, ♀, 8.4 g,
44; 1882, ♂, 5.8 g, 45).
