2 July in the evening we drove to C-502 from "cord" comp at San Martin. Alive along the road we collected one Natrix maura (1705, 285g, 65S+15Y, ♀).
3 July San Martin de Pimpollan - Manzanares El Real.
Before leaving San Martin, we collected 6 Podarcis hispanica :
1706 ♂ 3.0g 49+92C
1707 ♀ 1.8g 46+65R
1708 ♂ 4.6g 63+79R
1709 ♂ 4.2g 59+95R
1710 ♂ 2.5g 50+90C
1711 ♂ 2.4g 50+80R
and continued along to Avila. 19.0 km WSW (at bridge, C-502) of Avila, I shot one Lacerta lepida (1712, ♂, 47g, 120+226C)
from a bridge abutment. This bridge is "covered" with P. hispanica. So common are they that it's difficult to walk about the supports without seeing them into hiding.
4 July Manzanares El Real - Mayorca, Valladolid.
At the compound in Manzanares El Real, we collected 3 Psammodromus algirus :
1713 ♀ 4.0g 56+37B
1714 ♂ 5.4g 57+104C
1715 ♂ 5.2g 56+138C
