24 JUN SPAIN: Cádiz PROV.: VEJER DE LA FRONTERA TO BENALUD DE SIDONIA AND S. TO FACINAS.
This is the 1st day of our "recovery" operation for obtaining specimens at a close locality. 7.1 km. E. of VEJER DE LA FRONTERA, in an area of Pinus pinea, we collected one Acanthodactylus erythrurus (1644, 5.1g, 58+120 C, ♀).
BENALUD DE SIDONIA, 11.6 km SE on CA-212 we took one Podarcis hispanica (1645, ♂, 3.9 g, 55+67 R) and at 16.9 km SE we found one Psammobromus algerius (1646, ♂, 6.0g, 63+166 C) and 3 Natrix maura (1647, ♀, 32.5 g, 334+86 ; 1648, ♂, 33.5g, 395+95 ; 1649, ♀, 48.0g, 362+92).
MVZ 178419 One P. hispanica was collected and a Chalcides chalcides was seen at this locality. At 23.1 km SE, at the intersection of CA-212 with C-440, we collected two Podarcis hispanica (1650, ♂, 3.1g, 49+69 R) (1657, ♂, 3.7g, 53+91 C) and one Bana perezi (1658, ♂, 10.5g, 46 SVL) from beneath a bridge.
