19 JUN Morocco: TANGER, AT THE GRAND VILLE HOTEL.
Decided to do a late
afternoon drive to KSAR-ES-SEGHIR
and follow S-601 South to its
junction with 8303. We then follow
8303 toward CENJA until we
intersect with the coastal road which
return to KSAR-ES-SEGHIR. We were
successful and the following account
our success:
0.2 km S. KSAR-ES-SEGHIR on
S-601 we collected one Tarentola
mauritania (1617, ♀, 8.6g, 66+15R,
shelled eggs, 1 L, 1 R).
4.0 km S., one Psammobromus
ALGIRUS (1618, ♂, 7.5g, 66+170 C).
4.2 km S., one T. mauritania
(1619, ♂, 8.7g, 66+63R) and 2
Natrix maura (1620, ♀, 9.7g, 232+44;
1621, ♂, 15.5g, 274+86).
10.5 km S. (intersection S-601
with 8303), one POORCUS hispanica
(1622, ♀, 3.6g, 56+78R) and one
Rana perezi (1623, ♀, 94g, 90 SVL).
Turned N. on 8303 and 0.9 km
N. of S-601 on 8303, we collected
one TARENTOLA MAURITANICA (1624, ♀, 7.5g.
