15 JUN (1572, f, 115g, 163+293c) along CA-221
"CONT'D" 22.5 km NE FACINAS (= 1.5 km from C-440)
and a MALPOLON MONSPESSULANUS (1573,
male, 630g, 44.75 INCHES + 12.75 INCHES).
The Malpolon was intentionally run over
by my car! A little-used, yet effective,

Night driving the Berdup de
Sidonia loop was not worth the $10.00 in

MAURITANICA (1574, female, 5.9g, 58+59c) alive on
the road 5.1 km S of Berdup on the un-numbered
road which goes down to C-440. On our
way home, we found a BUFO BUFO (1575, f,
85g, 92 SVL) 3.5 km N. of the intersection of
C-440 with CA-221 (on C-440). A very
windy night with little or no herp activity.

ERYTHREUS along the beach to the NE of
the compound - no sign, the beach area
appears well used and trashed. We went
up to the Punta Paloma road where I
had success before. We were lucky and
I was able to shoot 7 specimens of
