S.D. Busack 1982 3 JUN "CONT'D" and 4 adult and 2 subadult specimens remain. while collecting ≈ 1 km N. of OURAIMBOSY we took 4 LACERTA LEPIA (1445,♂, 120g, 161+290c; 1446♀, 91g, 150+286 c; 1447♂, 30g, 103+182c ; and 1448,♀, 32.75g, 106+141B) the 1st two of which were pryed loose from their resting places in the rock. The TB on [illegible] were 34.1 and 34.4 while the TSA , respectively, were 26 and 25°C. Both were shot while sunning on the rock wall lining the N. end of the street into town! Surprisingly enough, L. lepida is not too uncommon at this elevation (2650M). 4 Quedoufeldti TRACHYLETERARUS (1449,♀, 1.8g, 44+16R, 1 shelled egg, Right side ; 1450,♂, 2.7g, 16+68R ; 1451,♀, 2.0g, 45+47R , 1 yolked follicle, left ; and 1452, 0.8g, ♂, 32+03B) temperature were obtained and they are: TA TB 26 32.6 26 34 23 32.8 22 31.0 One Podarcis hispanica (1453, 2.1g, 44+79R, T3 = 24.6, TA=19) was also taken at this locality.
