Busack -53- 1982 29 MAY extracted a LACERTA LEPIDA (1327,\u03b4, "cont'd-2" 110g, 154+214R) which was sunning in the road from beneath a very large rock. 61 km S. Ain-Leuh on S-303 at 1500m, we collected a Podarcis hispanica on the walls of a culvert (1328, \u03b6, 2.2g, 50+8; 1 shelled egg L [13x6], 1 shelled egg R [14x5]). 30 MAY MOROCCO: EL KSIBA + VICINITY 1.9 km S. of El ksiba municipal campground we found one SAUROACTRUS MAURITANICUS (1329, 0.5g, 27+39C) among rocks at the base of a culvert. 3.5 km S. of EL KSIBA MUNICIPAL CAMPGROUND, at 1320 m, we collected 3 PODARCIS PERSPICILLATA which appear more wary than P. hispanica. In this area, at least, they live on very steep walls and, with rubber bands, are difficult to both hit and retrieve. The 3 we collected were extracted from holes in the retaining walls and have damaged toes as a result.
