The Ophisaurus was under a rock in moist soil beneath the oak, the others were in orl under granite rocks in this very open, heavily grazed, area. 11.3 km S. Aïn-Leuh on S-303 at 1700m (2 km. 21) in a forest of Cedar and Oak, we collected our first BUFO VIRIDIS (1321, 12.75g, 52mm SVL; This is only our 2ND B. viridis - the 1st was seen at MARTIL but not collected), orother LACERTA CEPIDA (1322, ♀, 58g, 135+190R), orl a PODARCIS HISPANICA (1323, σ♂, 2.9g, 50+61R). 41.7 km S. Aïn-Leuh on S-303, at 1430m, we chased a L. lepida (1324, σ♂, 130g, 165+249C) from its culvert into a wheat field where it literally stopped from apparent exhaustion. 44.7 km S. Aïn-Leuh, at 1500m, a PSAMMOROMUS ALGERIUS (1325, σ♂, 2.3g, 41+95C, DOA) orl a P. HISPANICA (1326, σ♂, 2.9g, 51+50B, DOA) were taken among the rocks. 48.2 km S. Aïn-Leuh, at 1440m, we -52-
