S.D. BUSACK 1982 27 MAY CHECHAOUËN MUNICIPAL CAMP; on "CONT'D" our last pass through the rocky area to the NW, we got 2 TARENTOLA MAURITANICA (1312, ♂, 7.7g, 65+53R; 1313, ♂, 4.6g, 53+44R) and we prepare to get out of this noisy and somewhat (now at least) dirty compound. 28 MAY CHECHAOUËN → AZROU, Morocco. We left the hotel late (~10am) and followed S-303 through Pine and Cedar forest in search of the Monkeys which are reputed to live here as well. Herpetologically we did really well. 6 km. S. Aïn-LEUH on S-303 we encountered our first LACERTA LEPIDA (1314, ♂, 70g, D.O.R.) to tissue. 8 km. S., at 1680m (and near km.18) we collected 2 LACERTA LEPIDA (1315, ♀, 6.5g, 64+102C, 1316, ♂, ♀, 10.0g, 73+129C), 2 PODARCIS HISPANICA (1317, ♂, 3.4g, 51+90R, DOA; 1318, ♂, 3.0g,
