D.Busack -45- 1982 10 MAY amphibia we started last night. So we returned to the pond which is just E. of Tanger on the road to Tiris campound and CAP MABATA. We were, once again, successful as we caught 1 Pleurodeles waltli (1250, ?, 1.0 g, 34+23), 1 Discoglossus pictus (1251, o, 1.1g, 21 mm), and 7 Rana peuxi (1252, o, 26 g, 64 mm; 1253, o, 30 g, 65 mm; 1254, o, 29 g, 64 mm; 1255, ?, 34g, 68 mm; 1256, o, 31.5 g, 64mm; 1257, o, 42 g, 77 mm; 1258, ?, 59 g, 80 mm). 11 MAY MOROCCO: TANGER PROV.; TANGER We returned to the area of a few days back which was + 7 km (AIR) W. of Tanger to collect a Tarentola mauritonica (1259, 1.0 g, 33+32 C) and then went to the GROTTE D'HERCULE area for another T. mauritonica (1260, 1.3g, 38+36 C), a Coluber hippocrepis (1261, ?, 9.8 g, 310+73), and an Agama bibroni (1262, o). 12 MAY MOROCCO, TANGER PROV., TANGER TO CEUTA and return to SPAIN, Algiers. We took the coastal road across to Ceuta and stopped at KSAR-ES-SERHIR for an hour to look around. From here, we collected a Psammodromus ALGIRUS (1263,o, 36 g, 53+129 C) and a baby TARENTOLA MAURITANICA
