7 MAY this locality because a LACERTA CEPIDA crossed the road here. In the Eucalyptus forest where the soil is very dry, Jeanne found a MACROPROTOODON cucullatus (1221, $\varnothing$, 12g, 289+60) under a rock and also found a Bufo mauritanicus.
8 MAY MOROCCO: ASILAH INTERNATIONAL CAMP, etc.
Once again, on the camp walls,
I collected a PODARCIS HISPANICA (1222, $\varnothing$, 4.1g, 59+B, with yolked follicles).
Later, on the S. wall of the Melina in Asilah, I collected 8 PODARCIS
hispanica (1223, $\sigma^{\prime}$, 4.5g, 58+52B; 1224,
$\sigma^{\prime}$, 5.8g, 62+123R; 1225, $\sigma^{\prime}$, 4.9g, 57+100C;
1226, $\sigma^{\prime}$, 4.6g, 57+110R; 1227, $\varnothing$, 3.5g, 56+
95C, 2 yolked follicles L and 2 on R; 1228, $\varnothing$,
3.4g, 55+81R, 1 shelled egg R [13x8mm] and
1 shelled egg L [13x7mm] $\sigma^{\prime}$; 1229, $\varnothing$, 3.1g,
55+69R, 1 yolked follicle R and 1, L;
1230, $\sigma^{\prime}$, 2.3g, 46+91C).

About 7 km (AIR) W. of TANGER, Jeanne
found a COLUBER HIPPOCREPIS (PHOTO, 1232,
$\sigma^{\prime}$, 380g, 948+240) and I, a MACROPROTOODON
cucullatus (1233, 63g, $\sigma^{\prime}$, 481+17) under a
