S.D. Busack 1982 29 APR Morocco: Rabat area. I am well enough to travel and we cannot afford these $50/night hotel bills only longer so we've decided to return to Kenitra to find a hotel for a few more days and rebuild this trip. We stopped for lunch 27 km S. of KENITRA on P294 and I couldn't resist the urge to turn a few rocks near a small watering hole in the Foret du Mamora. (= pines, no cover). Under 3 rocks in the area, I found one NATRIX MAURA (1165, ♂, 14.25g, 302+ 90), one TROGONOPHIS WIEGMANNI (1166, ♀ (?), 1.8g, 88+6 C, and one CHAICIDES MIONECTON (1167, ♂, 4.0g, 78+55 R). 1 MAY Morocco: Kenitra, 10.1 km S. We collected in the forest for about 3 hours but it was in this area, under a fallen limb from a Quercus suber, and in sandy soil that we turned up an OPHISAURUS KOELLICKERI (1168, 33.5g, ♀, 163+330 C) 2 MAY Morocco: BANASA RUINS (ROMAN) The ruins are baked by the sun and we were surprised to find mainly Bufo mauritanicus under the many
