S.D. BUSACK 1982 20 APR "cont'd" in a "clean-up" operation. But, before reaching the area, we stopped 1 km. NW of Kenitna on the beach road and collected 2 Acanthodactylus erythraeus, 1 juvenile (1159) under a rock in the open, and an adult (1158) in the Eucalyptus forest. DATA ARE: 1158, φ, 8.4 g, 70+128C, 2 yolked follicles L, and 2 yolked follicles R. AND 1159 ?, 1.6g (dead), 44+70mm (died, no tissues). At MEHDIYA-PLACE ruins we found one Blanus cinereus (1161, σ♥, 5.0g, 185+7), 3 Tarentola mauritanica (1162, died, 5.6g, 56 SVL; 1163, σ♥, 7.4g, 66+55R; 1164, σ♥, 15.5g, 84+86 B), and one Chalcides ocellatus (1160, φ, 26.75g, 124+130). And we quit early because I am not feeling well. But we are both annoyed at the diversity and the number of lizards that are distributed through this small area of habitat. 21-28 APR Morocco: RABAT Suffering from a fever of 40°C (=104°F) and am in a hotel receiving a doctor's attention, although I am unable to speak with him. Don't recall much except I perspire and sleep a lot. Not much food--content!
