Busac\n1982\n-37-\n19 APR\nto be on old fortress, we collected 5\nTARENTOLA MAURITANICA (1140, \u03b1, 10.75g, 70+\n80C ; 1141, \u03b1, 20.25g, 87+71R ; 1142, ?, 11.00g,\n73+60R ; 1143, \u03b1, 10.25g, 71+B ; AND 1144, ?,\n9.0g, 71+B), 2 MACROPODODON CUCULLATUS [PHOTO]\n(1145, \u03b1, 59 g, 477+83 and 1146, ?, 26.5g,\n386+73 , with Chalcides mionecton head\nand shoulder in stomach), 7 BLANUS\nCINEREUS (1147, \u03b1, PHOTO, 5.9 g, 183+22 ;\n1148, \u03b1, 4.4 g, 171+20 ; 1149, ?, 3.4g, 161+19;\n1150, \u03b1, 3.6g, 160+19 ; 1151, \u03b1, 3.3g, 153+5 ;\n1152, ?, 2.5g, 140+15 ; 1153, ?, 1.0g, 97+11)\n1 CHALCIDES OCCELLATUS (1154, \u03b1, 23.25g, 111+101)\nand we were quite surprised at what\nwas here. It seems that good habitat\nis at such a premium that animals\ntend to crowd into it. (although the\narea didn't seem crowded -- it's just\nthat the spacing between geckos seemed\nless than in Spain).\nWe looked in an area 10 km.\nE. of the Rabat - Sale bridge (Steve\nArnold locality for Pelobates) and\nfound two Hyla meridionalis (1155, \u03b1,\n5.8g, 43 SVL ; 1156, \u03b1, 4.9g, 41 SVL) and\none DISCOGLOSSUS PICTUS (1157, \u03b1, 17.75g, 54SVL).\n20 APR\nMOROCCO: KENITRA, MEHDIYA-PLACE.\nDecided to return to Mehdiya-Place.
