Busack 1982 -13- 29 MAR "CONT'D" (948, ♀, 4.4g, 40 SVL, H,L,S,I) (949, ♂, 4.1g, 40 SVL, " ) (950, ♂, 3.7g, 38 SVL, " ) Salamandra Salamandra (951, ♂, 21.5g, 98 SVL +46, fed on small mollusks) (952, ♂, 16.5g, 88 SVL t 48, fed on small mollusks and sowbug ) (953, ♀, 32.0g, 115 SVL + 74, fed on small mollusks over a snail - tissue in liquid N not tagged inside ) Three three specimens were taken at 11.9, 12.0, and 13.9 km E. of Jacinto after 2300 hrs. It seems that Salamandra does not start moving until very late. 30 MAR SPAIN: CÁDIZ PROV; BENALUP DE SIDONIA, 12.7 km WNW to ALCALÁ DE LOS GAZULES, 23.5 km SSE on C-440. We finally got a good evening rain while we were out on the road and collected in this area of the province which becomes my 2nd area for amphibian comparison. To accomodate all the data while not wasting paper and time, I will hereby abbreviate where I caught these animals and, at the end of the entry for 30 MAR, will be found their measurements, weights, etc.
