24 MAR 1982 On our way back to the car, we found
a Bufo bufo (888, ♀, 315 g, 142 SVL,
1600 hrs) swimming in the pond from which
we had tried earlier to capture 2 juveniles.
MAUREMYs LEPROSA. Looked like it might rain.
25 MAR 1982 SPAIN: CÁDIZ PROVINCE; ON THE ROAD E. FROM
FACINAS, C-440 NW TOWARD ALCALA DE LOS
GAZULES, AND THE ROAD TO BENALUP DE
SIDONIA.
It rained most of today but not
really hard. The winds off the ocean were
very strong and we wonder about what
tides the water will bring. It is very
cold for us -- we've bundled up around camp.
This evening we drove the road from
Facinas to C-440. Collected were several
Bufo bufo (893-902) whose data follow:
FACINAS, 12.9 km E. 9.4° T_b, 11° T_A, 240 m,
2040 hrs,
_____, 15.0 km E, 9.8° T_b, 13.5° T_A, 200 m,
