ON N630. a flooded area to the W. of the highway produced 1 NATRIX NATRIX, and 1 Discoglossus pictus under rocks in a very wet substrate. The N. NATRIX was sloughing its skin. SPAIN: CACERES PROV.; PLASENCIA, 13.3 km N. ON N630. We found 1 Triturus marmoratus beneath a rock in roadside rubble. 19 MAR 1982 SPAIN: CACERES PROV.; CACERES, AT RIO SALOR S. ON N-630. Investigated the pastureland to the S. of the Rio and found 1 living and 1 dead (killed by a farmer) NATRIX MAURA 21 MAR 1982 SPAIN: CADIZ PROV.; PUERTO REAL, 3.1 KM. E. on ROAD TO MEDINA SIDONIA. Collected 5 HYLA MERIDIONALIS (SDB 872- 876; ♂♂; 6, 6, 5.7, 7.3, + 6.2 g; 45, 45, 44, 45, + 47 mm SVL; H, L, I, S taken from all) and 1 NATRIX MAURA (SDB 871; ♀; 53g, 450+96 mm, H,L taken) in a pond on W. side of road. Night cool clear, water chilly, many Hyla heard calling in the distance. Chorus at this pond ceased calling around 2130 hrs after removal of 3 ♂♂. Small (~6
