Captures today were as follows:
C. minimus 7
P. moniolatus 5
M. pallidus 6 ♂ 4 ♀
P. parvus 1 ♂
2 ♀ pallidus showed signs of recent parturition so were
released. Captures have not been particularly good and IVB 702
a ♀ pallidus delivered last night and rejected the young. Another
♀ pallidus, # 701 showed a 2 or 3 g wt loss, clearly showing
embryo resorption. I've decided to take the 3 ♀ pallidus
showing late pregnancy - I leave for Berkeley. If I get them
grown enough on a diet of crickets etc away and the warm
undisturbed environment of my animal room may save the
embryos.
