Journal 0.5 mi W Coso Jct, Inyo Co., Calif 6 April captures (cont'd) aqueduct creosote flat ? formosus ♂→ 2 - D. merriani ♂→ 3 1 ♀ 1 - P. monilatus 5 - D. microps ♂→ 2 1 Neotoma 1 1 19 12 total = 31 / 120 trap nights Not particularly good trap success, partly attributed to on and off gusts (25-50 mph) from the west and a 9°C nighttime temperature. PVB 587 is alive and captive while last night's catch was sacrificed. 230 pm leave this locality for northward drive on 395 and 190 to Keeler to catch D. deserti. 14.4 mi E, 0.7 mi S Olancha, Inyo Co., Calif. 6 ♀ April Arrived here round 430 pm and began setting Sherman out on the sand dunes here.
