I had hoped to stay another day or so, but the wind is blowing fiercely (now 40 mph; sporadically) and the sky portends more foul weather. Trap success last night was very low. 1.5 mi E, 2mi N Coso Jct: P. longimembris 8 Orychomya 1 P. moniculatus 1 D. merriami & 7 (5 kept) & 3 20/120 0.5 mi W. Coso Jct (aqueduct) P. moniculatus 2 P. formosus 1 (to S. Sherwood) D. microps 2 (ideal) D. merriami 3 8/60 2:30pm because of the weather, I've packed up in preparation for driving south. With such poor trap success I see no point in staying here. And the wind continues to blow.
