P.V. Brylski 1981 Journal 18 Oct. 1.8 mi. N., 0.7 mi E Chilcoot, Plumas Co., Calif. 5300ft I am having checked the lines near camp we're ready to head to the lowlands in the autor to check those lines. No P. furvus up here - somewhat to my surprise. I don't know what the others got but we captured several D. janamintus some meniculates, 1 nothing else. Juli Patton - 1 the others just arrived. 130 am grocked up & heading down the road 9am all the lines have been checked, 5 or 6 m. pallidus were caught overall, many D. penemintimes, several D. ordii (these 2 look quite similar up here: coloration is, at first glance anyway, the same; janamentis is of course larger but it seems the janamintus here are smaller than in other parts of its range & the ordii a bit larger than usual). ~13 animals were catalogued by me. all were sacrificed via formalin injection the the heart & the testes/ovaries removed & fixed in formalin. 10pm leave this site for Sagehen Creek and eventually back to Berkeley. 1.5 mi E.
